Accessia Health Joins the National Health Council to Collaborate on Patient-Centered Health Policy

Midlothian, Va. (September 17, 2024) – Accessia Health, a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) patient assistance organization, announces its membership with the National Health Council (NHC). The NHC brings its 170+ members together to collaborate on improving access to affordable, quality health care while driving patient-centered health policy.

“We are proud to be a member of the NHC and believe deeply in their mission to provide a united voice for those living with chronic diseases and disabilities and their family caregivers,” said Tiara Green, president of Accessia Health. “There is important work to be done in improving our healthcare system for patients and their caregivers. Accessia Health is looking forward to collaborating with other industry leaders to drive meaningful change for those we serve.”

As a part of the NHC, the nonprofit organization will engage with other members to address cross-cutting issues across various health-related sectors. By participating in discussions around the NHC’s key issue areas, the organization will gain insights into best practices and innovative approaches for serving their patient populations.

This membership is also an opportunity for Accessia Health to put their core values into action. Through collaboration with leading organizations, they aim to enhance their services, better support patients and their families, and continue to make strides in advocating for improved healthcare access for every person living with rare and chronic conditions.
